During the 48th annual International Swimming Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Coach Tan presented the check to Japanese Consul General Mr. Kawahara. Funds that was raised between Swimmers for Swimmers Inc, City of Fort Lauderdale, and Zap Aquatic (Swim team from California) total amount of $20,000.

Coach Tan will be traveling to Japan at the end of May and present $8,000 to Japanese Swimming Federation President Mr. Sano. This funds will be distributed for the area that were effected by earthquake and tsunami in 2011.
